Return and refund policy

0. Scope

This policy applies to purchases made directly on universalreads.com. Orders placed through any other website or marketplace are subject to that platform’s policies.

1. Return Eligibility

• Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
• The book must be unused, in original condition, and with intact packaging (if applicable).
• A valid proof of purchase (Order ID, invoice, or order confirmation email) is required.
• Digital products (e-books, PDFs, audiobooks, etc.) are non-refundable once delivered.

2. Non-Returnable Items

• Digital products (e-books, PDFs, audiobooks).
• Books damaged after delivery due to misuse, mishandling, or improper storage.
• Final sale, clearance, used, personalized, or signed editions.
• Returns requested after the 30-day window.

3. How to Start a Return

Email us at support@universalreads.com or universalreads9@gmail.com with:

• Your full name
• Your Order ID
• A brief reason for return
• (Optional) A photo of the item for faster processing

Once approved, we will issue a prepaid return shipping label. We offer free return shipping for all eligible orders, including international returns.

4. Refunds

• Refunds are processed within 3–4 business days after we receive and inspect the returned book.
• Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
• You will receive an email confirmation once your refund is processed.

5. Exchanges

Exchanges may be requested by contacting our support team and are subject to availability.

6. Damaged or Defective Books

If a book arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective, you may choose either a replacement copy or a full refund.

7. Order Cancellations

Orders can be canceled before shipment. Once dispatched, our standard return policy applies.
