Shri Durga Saptashati in Hindi — the 700-verse scripture that narrates the Goddess's three cosmic victories over the forces of adharma and delusion, containing the most powerful mantras in the Shakta tradition for protection, purification, strength, prosperity, and liberation. The Durga Saptashati — 700 sacred mantras drawn from the Markandeya Purana — is not merely a devotional text but a complete spiritual technology. Its 13 chapters are divided into three Charitas (narratives) corresponding to three divine manifestations: the Pratham Charita (Chapter 1) narrates Mahakali's destruction of the demons Madhu and Kaitabha; the Madhyama Charita (Chapters 2–4) narrates Mahalakshmi's defeat of the buffalo-demon Mahishasura; and the Uttama Charita (Chapters 5–13) narrates Mahasaraswati's victory over Shumbha and Nishumbha. Each battle encodes a profound teaching about the three Gunas of consciousness and the Goddess's role in liberating the individual soul from their grip. The complete sadhana system includes: the Kavacha (armour mantra that invokes the Goddess's protection for each part of the body), the Argala Stotra (the 'bolt' that seals the ritual), the Kilaka Stotra (the 'pin' that opens the text's power), the Navarna Mantra Japa Vidhi, the three Rahasyas (the theological secrets of the text), and the Siddha Kunjika Stotra — the text's essence-mantra that condenses the entire Saptashati into a brief, powerful recitation. This illustrated (Sachitra) edition brings the visual tradition of Devi worship to the text — each major episode and each of the 13 chapters is accompanied by traditional iconographic artwork depicting Maa Durga, Maa Mahakali, Maa Mahalakshmi, and Maa Mahasaraswati in their battle forms and their gracious forms. The most important differentiator of this Gita Press edition is its completeness: most competitor editions give only the 700 verses. This edition gives the entire sadhana system. Complete 13 chapters, 700 sacred mantras in Sanskrit with large-print Hindi translation Three Charitas: Pratham (Mahakali, Ch. 1), Madhyama (Mahalakshmi, Ch. 2–4), Uttama (Mahasaraswati, Ch. 5–13) Complete ritual apparatus — UNIQUE to this edition: Kavacha (divine armour mantra), Argala Stotra (the bolt), Kilaka Stotra (the pin), Navarna Mantra Japa Vidhi (9-syllable mantra ritual) Three Rahasyas (Pradhanika, Vaikritika, Murti) — the theological secrets of the text, rarely available elsewhere Siddha Kunjika Stotra — the essence-mantra that distils the full Saptashati's power Durgashtottara Shatanamam — 108 divine names of Maa Durga for daily archana Format: Granthakaar/Large Edition — optimally sized for Navratri recitation Ideal for: Navratri path (all 9 days), Durga Puja, Ashtami-Navami, monthly Ashtami recitation, Ram Navami (April), Janmashtami (August), Navratri (October), Diwali (November), Gita Jayanti (December) Why Gita Press over competitors: Most publishers offer only the 700 verses. The serious Devi sadhaka needs the complete system: Kavacha + Argala + Kilaka + Navarna + Three Rahasyas + Siddha Kunjika. No other affordable edition lists all these components explicitly — ours does, because they are all included. ?? ??????? ?? ???? ??? ???? ?????, ??????? ???????? ?? ?????? ??????? ???? ?? ???????? ??????-???? ?????? ?? ???? ?????? ??? ??? ??????? ??? ??? ??? ?????? ?????? — ????? ???, ?????? ?? ?????? ?? ????? ?? ???? ??????
