Constitution of India [Bare Act without Comments] by Taxmann for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is the 2026 Edition. It carries the Preamble, all 25 Parts and all 490 article entries, being articles 1 to 395 with 108 lettered articles inserted among them, together with all 12 Schedules, First to Twelfth. The edition is published for the AIBE-XXII (22) cycle, whose paper is set for 29th November 2026. The text of the Constitution is freely available. What this Edition supplies is a volume built for speed of reference under examination conditions, and an amendment apparatus of a size no other title in this series carries. The Constitution is printed without commentary. Beneath the text sit 996 footnotes, which name the Amendment Act behind each change and the date it took effect, and which at 13 places also record that the Supreme Court has held a provision or an amendment invalid, naming the decision. The AIBE paper sets 100 questions in 3 hours 30 minutes, a little over two minutes a question, and Constitutional Law carries 10 of the 100 marks, the joint-highest weight on the paper.
