This compendium of nineteen papers, presented at a national seminar held at St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama, attempts to explore the ways and means to remodelling the rural economy of north-east India.
Focusing on the various aspects of rural development in North-East India, the contributors address the key issues concerning empowering and participation of people in rural development, inforastructure, finance, agriculture, and socio-political aspects of rural development.
